In 2017 my wife and I had our first child, an energetic little boy named Johnny. As he grew and was nearing his first birthday I began to think of all the things he would dream to be one day. I thought back to my own childhood, imagining what it would be like to be a Cowboy, a Pirate, an Artist, a Ball Player and more. I remembered my own father telling me that I could be anything I wanted in the world as long as I was a good person and worked hard to achieve my dreams. This inspired me to write, illustrate, and self-publish my own children's picture book using my son Johnny as the main character! I wanted to create something fun and simple, targeted for kids ages 0-5, perfect for bedtime stories or first-time readers!
After a lot of hard work, "IF I WERE A COWBOY" was finally complete and available on Amazon!

I had such a fun time writing and illustrating the first book that I decided to make it a series. Shortly after starting the second book, "Little Johnny Books" was created and I went on to create a book for my daughter Clarke as well. I look forward to what the future holds for my son Johnny and myself. It is my hope that every child who holds one of my picture books for the first time will instantly be transported in their mind to a world where dreams are possible and you can be anything you want to be.
